The best of the web on money, markets and all things financial, as chosen daily by Globe and Mail personal finance columnist Rob Carrick.

And the Oscars for credit cards and bank accounts go to... picks the best financial products of the past year. This website receives revenues from ads placed by financial companies, but it says the awards are based on merit.

And now a ranking of the banks and online brokers most responsive to customer e-mails. These ratings were compiled by Surviscor, an independent analysis firm.
